History
Blossoms Theatre Company was
founded in 1986 at Garter Lane Arts Centre.
We gave our first classes there and then moved around
the city first at Orpen's Pub,Dunmore Road, and then
at Ballinakill Rugby Club. Children's theatre was very
thin on the ground at this time and we were one of the
very first to give regular drama classes.
When we were established in Waterford we decided to
bring it to other venues all over the South East.
At last count Blossoms has delivered high quality drama
and dance classes at some 23 different towns and villages.
We perform theatre in education pieces also and branched
into stage productions for company dos.
Twenty years on we are still giving classes
We also work in schools during school hours and are
available for further classes.
